I could write about the researched Iconography in my work, or the way I try to merge old and new and the tension that these contrasting elements generate and how I aim to make them work together. I could write about the artists I am inspired by, covering a spectrum that goes from Arnold Böcklin to Matisse, or the symbolism and mystery that I try to imbue my work with, or that I am just trying to make sense of the world around me, that my paintings are just another way to keep a visual diary, but in reality, I just make up stories and then I paint them.
